Chiropractor
Amyas Kabir, D.C.
Dr Kabir has been in practice in Bloomington, Illinois for over 25 years and is an expert in the field of human health, wellness, and longevity. He has devoted the majority of his career in the pursuit of researching the keys to unlocking the door to optimal performance in both the physical and mental arenas.
His mission is to provide his patients and community with the tools to maximize their regenerative and restorative potential. Dr Kabir is an avid hockey and fitness enthusiast and is always seeking novel methods to slow down the aging process and reverse the effects of chronic disease.
As a former competitive bodybuilder, he understands the value of living a healthy lifestyle and was inspired to further his impact by completing his Doctorate at Logan University in St Louis. His postgraduate accomplishments include certification as an Active Release Technique practitioner to address common sports injuries, a certification in Webster technique for pregnancy, and he has logged over 400 hours in postgraduate nutritional courses. His vision is to transform the current health care delivery system to reduce dependency on pharmaceuticals and surgeries and allow the body's innate healing ability to naturally foster a state of optimal health and well-being.

Front Office & Marketing Coordinator
Carlee Lype
Carlee joined the Kabir Center for Health team January 2024 as the front office & marketing coordinator. She enjoys keeping up with the marketing trends as well as making every patients experience at KCH a welcoming and informative one. Carlee is a magna cum laude graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in marketing, making her a great fit for all of our marketing needs.
Carlee was born in Bloomington, IL and raised and still resides in Lexington, IL. When not in the office, you can find her spending quality time with her family, friends and dogs.
Front Office Assistant & SoftWave Specialist
Geena Matus
Geena recently joined the Kabir Center for Health family in January 2024 as the Softwave Specialist and Front Office assistant. Before joining KCH, Geena had worked in the front office of a local massage clinic as the head scheduler. After years in work environments that focused on healing, health and personal growth, Geena has away had a passion for assisting people through their journey. With a passion for helping others this is a perfect fit for her at KCH!
Geena was born in Arizona but is now calling Bloomington home! In her free time, she enjoys gardening house plants, shopping, and spending time with her family. Geena is a cat mom of two; over summer months you can find her at the summer farmers market with her cat Millie!
Healer and Therapy Dog
Scarlet Jo Tiede-Kabir
Scar has been with the team since 2014. She's the eldest of our fur crew and is by far the most "protective" (all bark and no bite). For a miniature guard dog she has the most caring heart, wanting everyone to feel seen and loved. Her hobbies include snuggling with her humans, shadowing her mommy, going for long walks, playing fetch, and keeping her fur siblings in line.
Healer and Therapy Dog
Lucy "Nug" Tiede-Kabir
Nug joined the KCH crew in 2021 and loves to steal the show in every way possible. She's full of bulldog energy, doesn't know a stranger (human and/or furry), and lives to PLAY.
Her hobbies include tormenting her fur siblings, eating everything, annihilating all toys, begging for belly rubs, and making her humans laugh.
